About Sydney
Throughout her life, she has always been drawn to design. For the designs that she thought were good, she would sometimes try to improve them in her mind by trying to see what she thought needed to be changed. For work she considered outstanding, she was mesmerized and tried to dissect every little aspect of them. The how and why these pieces were created always kept her intrigued and allowed her to appreciate the designer for giving her the opportunity to discover hidden elements in the compositions.

Seeing these outstanding designs has also inspired Sydney to solve visual issues when creating her own work. One of her goals is to allow the viewer to better understand what they are seeing. She aims to have a design that is transparent in a way that the audience is submerged into the work without even knowing it.

Her projects tend to start off with a lot of research, brainstorming, sketches, and coffee. Once there are a few strong ideas, she likes to get feedback from peers to get a better understanding of what they see or what they do not see. Sydney strives to be open-minded by listening to what her peers say and to incorporate their ideas into her design in the hopes to understand why that would make or break the design. She believes that these contributions help her work evolve.

She feels that her skill set, her keen eye for detail, and her passion for creating new things will make her an exceptional designer. She also feels that she is dedicated to helping her peers, as she would want them to help her. Sydney has an open mind for learning. She gives honest criticism and, in return, whole-heartedly takes criticism. She is willing to test new ideas, whether they are successful or not.

Graphic design allows her to express herself in the strongest way possible and to use her talents to create visual solutions. As a designer, it is her hope to inspire others to share her passion by seeing it through my creations.
